Fire Drills
The National Fire Code of Canada requires that fire drills in schools are to be held at least three times during the fall as well as during the spring school terms.  We will be practicing this on a monthly basis, with our first Spring Fire Drill taking place next week. Fire Safety is also important to discuss at home and review what to do if there's a fire or emergency at home.

The Lunch Lady
The Lunch Lady will be delivering every Wednesday and orders need to be in by Monday at 12am.   Here’s the link if you’d like to order:  https://thelunchlady.ca/   Make sure you send in utensils!

Daily COVID Checklist
As a reminder, families and staff are asked to do a daily COVID self-assessment before coming to school. This document is updated through the year by Public Health. https://novascotia.ca/coronavirus/docs/Daily-COVID-checklist-en.pdf-

Tick Season Has Arrived
Ticks have been spotted on our school property so please check your child at the end of the school day or after they have finished playing outside. Ticks like warm areas, such as around ears, hair, behind knees and around the waist. Check out the following website for more information:  https://novascotia.ca/ticksafety/
