What's Happening at Oldfield

WHAT’S HAPPENING AT OLDFIELD – January 26, 2021

Driveway Safety
In an effort to maximize student safety, we are asking families to take extra caution when dropping children off and to be aware that people may be crossing at different points in the driveway  As a suggestion, you may want to park on the side that’s closer to the field (especially at the end of the day) to eliminate the need to wait for the buses to leave. We are also asking families not to drive around the school since we have students comining in and out at various doors and they do walk around the building for mask breaks.

Late Arrivals
If your child arrives after the bell, have them come in the front doors since the other doors may be locked

Valentine Cards
Due to Covid restrictions and the Back to School Plan, students are unable to bring in Valentines from home.  It is a different year, with many more restrictions,so we hope you understand.  We are very proud of how well our students are handling the new guidelines.

Spirit Day
Friday's theme is Winter Wonderland and we invite students to wear blue and white, possibly silver.  We may actually still have snow that day too!

Family Literacy Day
Family Literacy Day takes place every January 27th to raise awareness about the importance of reading and engaging in other literacy-related activities as a family..
